Riot is looking into it.

Omen has once again encountered knee-deep errors.

Auni "AvovA" Chahade from the Heretics team brought to light a VALORANT bug that prevents Omen from using the Wrapped Step correctly if you are too close to a wall. The Riot developers responded to the pro, saying they will "take a look today."

Dot Esports tested the bug and confirmed the issue with the mysterious agent. It appears that the Shrouded Step's impact area is too large, causing the teleport to hit a wall if you're too close. Despite having his sights pointed outdoors, the wall stops him in his tracks.

Omen is easily the most popular controller in the game, and his teleports are a great way to reposition and catch enemies off guard. But this game-breaking issue may cause Riot to deactivate the agent until he is resolved.

However, this is not the only Omen bug out there. One player discovered that they could see through walls when trying to smoke through the map. You can usually only see a dark environment when using the skill. But this player was able to see the opponents.

The mystery agent was recently nerfed in patch 2.0. His paranoia jumped to 400 credits and the projectile speed of his dark cover dropped to 2,800. Combine it with the benefits of Brimstone and Omen can be dethroned as the basic smoker.
